- Extreme Weather: If your local daytime temperature is below 45°F or above 80°F, your order must be held for pickup at the nearest carrier facility to qualify for this guarantee.
- Reporting: If there is an issue, notify us within 2 hours of delivery with clear photos of the insects and the packaging materials.
Note: Someone must be available to receive the package immediately upon arrival to qualify for this guarantee.
Shipping Methods & Processing
We ship all orders from our Ohio facility Monday–Thursday. Processing times depend on your chosen shipping method:
- FedEx 2-Day: Priority Processing. These orders are prioritized for same-day or next-business-day dispatch.
- FedEx/UPS Ground: Standard processing. Typically dispatched within 1–2 business days.
- USPS Ground: Standard processing. Typically dispatched within 1–2 business days.
Restricted States: Per state agricultural laws, we DO NOT ship live Dubia roaches to Florida, Hawaii, or Alaska.
FAQ - Adult Dubia
A good rule of thumb is 1 male for every 3–5 females. This ensures a high fertilization rate without excessive competition.
If kept at optimal temperatures (85°F–90°F) and provided with consistent food and water, you will typically see nymphs within a few weeks.
Adult males are excellent for larger reptiles, but we generally recommend using nymphs for daily feeding to keep your colony population growing.
